Level A2 – B1
Read the book with a new method!
The idea of my method is you read a text in your native language, and then one
word is translated to your target language. Your brain thinks that it’s easy, it’s
something that it can handle. And even if you don’t know this word, don’t worry, there
is a translation in the margins. And now, every time you see this word, you can refer
to the translation if you don’t remember it. In the next sentence, one more word is
translated, and so on, until all the words are translated.
Advantages of this method:
First of all, this kind of reading encourages you to ‘notice’ new words and
effortlessly remember them.
Also, less confident readers can read this book, and it boosts their vocabulary level.
And the most important thing is students learn vocabulary in context.
